RETOUCHING FOR YOUR BOUDOIR PICTURES
LET'S TALK ABOUT RETOUCHING
We will always work with you to make sure you have the best Boudoir Experience, and that does include the editing of your final images. Most of our clients prefer a more natural look, and some would like a little more retouching, and we are happy to accommodate either way!
We retouch pimples, bruises, scratches, and everything non-permanent that would disappear within a few weeks. Permanent marks like scars and stretch marks tell a story, and it is not up to me to decide whether you want to see that story. Please let me know if you would like anything permanent removed while keeping in mind that this makes You and You are unique with all Your experiences and Your story.
Our general approach to photoshop is simple - keep your images clean and at the same time true to you. We won't ever alter your pictures so that they no longer represent YOU.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding Photoshop, get in touch now or ask away during your pre-session consultation! I would be happy to answer any of your questions and help put your mind at ease before your photo session.
Many of our clients tell us how disappointed they were when they had their photos taken somewhere else, and their skin looked like plastic, not representing skin at all AND taking away all of their personality.
I prefer to set the light in a way that is flattering rather than retouching the s***t out of you. Because in real life, no one has skin that looks like plastic, and it is very important to me that we represent You as a human. Don’t get me wrong, your skin will look much smoother than in your bathroom mirror, but that is mainly created by the way I use light. When I look at my bum in my mirror, I see a looot of dimples. Because I’m a real person. For my photos, I wanted the best version of my bum, so I created my style of photography, which is real and super flattering at the same time. And voila, most of my dimples are gone like magic… except it is not real magic, but expertise gained by being deeply emerged in the highly competitive fashion industry for many years. Don’t think that these people don’t have dimples! We all have them.
Watch Michi talking about her view about retouching. I agree with her 100%. We talked about her stretch marks in her photo below. I loooove this photo of her!
Get in touch and to see my ’magic’ on you! It is a lot of fun. And don’t forget, if you prefer to have anything retouched anyway, we can always do that as well. But first, I want you to see yourself how you really look like... in my lighting ;-)
