MARISSA'S BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE
I loved working with Marissa, mother of two kids, Event Technologist. This is about her experience working with me and her art work.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR OVERALL BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE WITH DIANA?
The session was fun, like hanging out with a friend. Diana was so welcoming in her home studio, created a comfortable experience, private area to dress, gave plenty of time between scene and outfit changes. Diana was always encouraging to try new things, but never pressuring.
Diana is encouraging, fun, gives you so much confidence! She had me on stools in heels, standing on one leg, upside down in the shower (all as safely as possible 😂) I didn't know what I really had in mind when I arrived, but I couldn't be happier with the experience and the photos. I didn't expect to feel so sexy or brave but it was so easy with Diana. She has such creative ideas, and really brings your own personality and voice into the shoot. The whole afternoon was comfortable and relaxed.
PLEASE TELL US A LITTLE ABOUT YOURSELF
I've lived in Wimberley, TX for 9 years, grew up in San Antonio. I am married and have 2 sons, almost 8 and 6 years old. I'm 35 and work in the meetings and conferences industry. I am active in the local UU church and support many political, civic and justice-oriented organizations
WHAT OUTFITS DID YOU BRING?
White long halter dress - hand-me-down, Black pencil skirt, grey X bodysuit - subscription box, Pink lace lingerie - bachelorette party, Black underwear and fishnets - Fredericks
ARE YOU A MODEL / WERE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED PROFESSIONALLY BEFORE?
I am not a model! This was my first shoot other than my bridal and wedding photos. I felt much more in tune with Diana than my other two shoots. I felt some of mine were boring or not well posed, but Diana knows what she's doing.

WERE YOU NERVOUS ABOUT THE SHOOT BEFOREHAND?
I was nervous before. It was helpful to have the planning call with Diana first.
WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR OTHERS GETTING THEIR BOUDOIR PHOTOS TAKEN?
Bring more options than you think you need. Even if you think you don't have the right look, body, outfits, etc. just do it! A memory to treasure forever.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF THE SESSION?
Watching Diana work through her process during the shoot. From picking outfits, moving locations, setting up and talking it through. It was fun to watch her get excited about something we were doing. Very encouraging.
