PROFESSIONAL HAIR & MAKEUP FOR YOUR BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE

I include Professional Hair & Makeup in your Photo Session for several reasons. 

The first is simply because these days, cameras and lenses are so good that the camera sensor will pick up every pore on your beautiful face. Having your hair and makeup done hides imperfections you may have on the day of your photo session and helps accentuate your bone structure, eyes, lips, so they will really stand out in your photos! 

My Hair and Makeup Artist will work with you on creating the perfect look that suits YOU and YOUR style best. 

I want you to look like your own best version, not like somebody else. If you don’t wear makeup daily, you might opt for a ‘nude’ look. Or you might want to go for a glam look, which is great also, as long as it is what you really want. Some clients tell me they want really strong makeup, and others hardly want anything done. Both decisions are equally important for you and your photos, and we listen to You.

I hear from many women that they had sessions with other photographers and were so disappointed about their hair and makeup because the artist didn’t listen to the client’s wishes. Coming from high fashion, I know how to listen to my clients and meet their expectations. This is very important to me because we want to start your photo session on the right look.

A boudoir photo session can be intimidating for most people, which is totally understandable. We want to make this experience as stress-free as possible for you, which is another reason why I include Professional Hair and Makeup. 

You get to relax while having your Hair & Makeup done to ease into the studio vibe, and your nerves calm down automatically.

When you look into the mirror, you already get your first confidence boost of the day with me, and that’s only the beginning of your experience!

Some clients plan a night out with their fabulous makeup, which is awesome. However, I always suggest not to make plans for immediately after your session, so we are not in a rush. I like to be done when we both feel we are done and got all images we want.

As well, if we photograph you in the shower, your hair and makeup might be ‘ruined’ after your session, but shower shots are sooo worth it. My clients and I absolutely love them.
