When German Playboy asked me to photograph a cover for their 50th-anniversary issue, I said yes immediately. I knew I wanted to photograph a YOU BY DIANA client.
I reviewed my previous clients who had signed a model release and called Annalisa back for a Playboy session. Annalisa became a Playboy model overnight. How fun!

Becky grew up in a household where body positivity was not a thing. So when she saw YOU BY DIANA at a bridal expo, her first thought was, “Wow… that just looks like fun.” Something about it really spoke to her soul.

THE SESSION
There are several reasons I work with a professional hair/makeup artist: So you have time to ‘arrive’ before standing in the spotlight, you get pampered to enhance your natural beauty, and you will already have the first ‘wow’ effect of the day when you see yourself in the mirror.
After your hair and makeup are done, we will go through your styling and narrow it down to the final pieces together. You have your own private bathroom to change.
HAIR & MAKEUP
I will lead you through different poses and emotions based on your personality and goal for your session. I will help you connect with each emotional state by suggesting scenarios to think about… this is where the giggles happen the most.
The atmosphere will be upbeat and fun, and I will constantly encourage you to try out different things. You will find it easy to be open and comfortable in front of my camera, thanks to my natural enthusiasm.
At the end of the session, the energy is so high that it almost feels like we have been friends forever.
THE PHOTO EXPERIENCE
After your session, I’ll get to work at masterfully editing your photos from your session. This gives my photos that natural, yet magazine-cover ready finish so that any products you purchase can be cherished for years to come.
After editing, you’ll get to see all of your images and order your collection. I offer a wide variety of luxury products that you’ll be able to look back on even when you’re 90 years old.

My style is a high-class version of boudoir photography. Think of a multiple-course dinner in a three Michelin stars restaurant vs. a happy meal at a fast food chain. Or a cool, laid-back, five-star hotel vs. of a random motel on the highway. Don’t get me wrong, though, I love shooting amazing portraits in rundown motels ;-)
I’m talking about the quality of my service and the resulting photographs of YOU. At the same time, I’m definitely not up my own ass like many high-class restaurants. Ha! On the contrary. You will see!
My photographs celebrate the personality of each woman through sexy, intimate portraits. You are unique, and you deserve to be portrayed as such. You are an original, and images of you should reflect that. My style is modern, artful—and also fun, and sexy!

My photo studio is located in San Marcos, TX. With my unique photography style and history of working with famous faces like Kesha and Katy Perry and for magazines like Playboy, Vogue, Elle, GQ, and Esquire, it’s not untypical for my clients to travel from far and wide to my studio for their sessions.
When you book a session at my San Marcos studio, you’ll have access to everything needed to make your session truly magical, including access to my exclusive sets, props, and my preferred hair and makeup artists.
I’m also available for destination sessions around the world if you have a particular location in mind for your session. Get in touch, and we can figure out what kind of session is best for you!

Yes. Confidentiality is paramount. I would never use your image without your permission. If, on the other hand, you embrace the possibility of seeing your images published, do let me know, and I will provide a model release for you to sign—though I cannot guarantee that your images will be used.

Don’t worry about poses! I will tell you exactly what to do and how to position yourself, so it looks good on camera. I’m getting into the poses myself to show you, and you can mirror me. And then there are always small adjustments. It will be fun! It is my job to pose you and create amazing photographs of you.

Your reveal & ordering session will be set within three weeks of your photo session. I will present your entire collection of around 80-150 images. I will assist you in making your final image choices and deciding on products.
Most of my clients opt for an album, wall art, and a mini accordion booklet to take with them everywhere. Please inquire about a specific product if you have something in mind that you don’t see on our list.

We professionally retouch pimples, bruises, scratches, and everything non-permanent that would disappear within a few weeks.
Permanent marks like scars and stretch marks tell a story and it is not up to me to decide whether you want to see that story. Please let me know if you would like anything permanent removed.

While I love the aesthetics of black & white, but I will photograph in color if you request it.

You can absolutely be nude! And you certainly do not have to be. How much skin you show is totally up to you. What I suggest for most women is doing both nude and semi-clothed.

I have a background of 20-plus years as a respected international fashion and advertising photographer, as well as shooting private clients. This means that I bring an uncommon level of expertise, vision, and quality to intimate portraiture.
What’s more, my shoots are fun and always have been. I have always enjoyed connecting with my subjects, and the connection shows in my photographs.
