A lot of women feel guilty spending money on themselves. In my opinion, it always depends on what that money is spent on.
I feel uneasy when shopping for clothes (or other things that I don't really need), which doesn't serve many purposes except that brief moment of retail therapy. I have been focusing more on spending money on things that serve a purpose in my life. Because that is a different kind of spending money. I do not feel guilty about spending money on self-care.
SELF-CARE IN GENERAL
Self-care looks different from person to person. For me, self-care sometimes is watching mindless TV shows. But it's also regular exercise to keep me moving and healthy and manage my stress. Other times it's eating healthy foods, and then it's eating pizza.
